Governance

Mrs Lynne Athey

LALynne worked in secondary education for forty- three years before retiring. Starting out as a history teacher she went on to hold a variety of positions including Deputy Principal in two schools. Being a governor at Aiskew and Leeming Bar Church of England Primary School for the last four years, taking on the role as Chair of Governors more recently, has given Lynne the opportunity to use her experience in education, in a volunteer role. On joining Synergy Federation, Lynne is now Chair of the Local School Committee at Aiskew and Leeming Bar and a Foundation Governor for the Federation.

About Synergy Schools

Synergy Schools is a federation of primary schools in the north of North Yorkshire. The federation was formed in September 2018, when Brompton-on-Swale and Crakehall Church of England Primary Schools successfully shared senior leadership capacity. Leeming & Londonderry Community & Pickhill Church of England Primary schools joined the federation in July 2021.
