Lynne Athey

Lynne worked in secondary education for forty- three years before retiring. Starting out as a history teacher she went on to hold a variety of positions including Deputy Principal in two schools. Being a governor at Aiskew and Leeming Bar Church of England Primary School for the last four years, taking on the role as Chair of Governors more recently, has given Lynne the opportunity to use her experience in education, in a volunteer role. On joining Synergy Federation, Lynne is now Chair of the Local School Committee at Leeming St John's CE Primary School and a Foundation Governor for the Federation.
